Arundhati Mitter

Executive Director, India

Arundhati is a Learning Experience Design strategist, drawing from over a decade of experience cross-pollinating within the sectors of Design, Culture and Education.

 

As a founding team member at Flow, Arundhati takes a lead on vision mapping, strategy, identification and translation of multi-sectoral opportunities. Her areas of interest lie in exploring multi-cultural, intercultural and global education within formal and informal systems of learning and the future of anti-disciplinary learning in the context of 21st century skills and values.

 

She is a graduate of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and has served as visiting faculty and jury member at NID, Ahmedabad and the School of Design, Ambedkar University, Delhi. She is also an alumna of the South East Asia Leadership Academy (SEALA) and a member of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF) network.

Eliza Hilton

Co-Founder and Non-executive Director

Eliza is an experienced primary school teacher, social entrepreneur, activist and international development expert. She is also a museum-lover and heritage geek who has worked and travelled in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and parts of Central Asia and Africa since 1999.

 

Eliza co-founded Flow India in 2010 as a sister organisation to Flow Associates in the UK – bringing transformative and innovative approaches to art, heritage and museum education to India. She was director in India till 2015 and remains in touch as a non-executive director based in the UK. Eliza has a BA in Classics (Latin, Greek and Ancient History), MA in International Development
from SOAS and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education. She has worked for a wide variety of international development organisations and initiatives mostly in funding roles, including the Aga Khan Foundation and Oxfam. She has been a writer and speaker on education in India, and as Flow India’s founder, has been named one of India’s 22 extraordinary education innovators by Education World Magazine in 2015.

Waseem Saifi

Programme Liaison and Administration In-charge

Waseem manages and coordinates school and consultancy programmes. He is responsible for supporting organizational growth and project acquisitions. He oversees the administration and logistics requirements of Flow India, and deals calmly with the purchasing requirements of complex programmes.

 

He is a post-graduate in Political Science from Delhi University and former Delhi University President. As a father of young children, he is a storyteller and has a passion for education and culture.

Remya Padmadas

Lead Experience Designer

Remya Padmadas is an educator with over 8 years of experience spanning diverse fields such as education, media, communication, and technology. She specialises in crafting unique learning experiences for children and has served as learning facilitator and lead teacher in a Montessori elementary environment for nearly two years.

 


As a learning experience designer at Flow, she leads a range of projects straddling research for curricular content, design for foundation learning goals, teacher capacity building, deploying AI for evaluation and assessment amongst others.

 

A computer science engineer by training, Remya holds a Master’s in Education from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She is also an alumna of the Asian College of Journalism. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, spending time with friends, and bird-watching.
